Wide receivers don’t win on straight-line speed.
They win at the instant momentum is cut, redirected, and relaunched.


This project asks; What would a football shoe look like if it were designed around that moment?

The work starts underfoot, analyzing how elite receivers load the ball of the foot during aggressive cuts. Film study, biomechanics data, and patent research converge on one critical zone: the forefoot plate and its role in medial to lateral force transfer during a hard plant.

The result is a modular forefoot system engineered to manage torsion, ground penetration, and energy return without restricting natural movement.

This is a performance study and a visual exercise. It explores how footwear can actively support the most decisive moment in a route.
